Charlotte Damm Obituary

Charlotte A. Damm, 74, of Alton, passed away Saturday, May 11 at Rosewood Care center in Alton. She was born January 3, 1945 in Greene County to Ebert C. And Florence (Greene) Damm.

Surviving are three sisters, Emma Harper, Florence Steidley, and Shirley Loftus, one brother, Lawrence (Dee) Damm, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Virginia and Nadine, and two brothers, Ebert and Charles.

Charlotte was a nurse’s aide for area nursing homes and was a member of the VFW and the Eagles. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

A graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 15, at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of arrangements and online condolences can be left at shields-bishopfh.com
