Alice Ann (Bishop) Egan

Alice Ann Egan (nee Bishop) of Beaverton Oregon, passed away on March 31, 2022. Alice was born on February 29, 1944 at George Field Army AirCorps Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She married Richard J. Egan on March 11, 1967 in San Mateo, California and he survives.

She is also survived by her sons Thomas M. Egan (Kirsten) of Hayward, California and Mark E. Egan of Beaverton, Oregon; and grandsons R.J. and Jake Horstmann and Charles Egan; great grandsons Vash and Kaija Horstmann; a brother Michael D. Bishop (Judy) of Creve Coeur, Missouri; nephew Joseph W. Bishop (Kelly) of St louis, Missouri; and great nieces Natalie, Stella, Evelyn and Hazel Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis Dean Bishop and Margaret Loretta Bishop (Egan) and nephew Jeffrey Michael Bishop.

Alice was a Paralegal and retired Import-Export manager for Hewlett-Packard.

Per her wishes, Alice was cremated. A committal service will be held at Witt Cemetery, Rockbridge, Illinois on July 25 at 1100 AM, with Fr. Hyland Smith officiating. Donations can be made to Witt Cemetery in her memory. Her cousins at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield are assisting the family.
