Archie Morrow Obituary

Archie W. Morrow, 69, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his home.  He was born June 21, 1955, to Richard and Eva Mae (Stansfield) Morrow.  He married Rhonda Waltrip June 3, 1979, in Greenfield, and she survives.

Also surviving is his son, Andrew (Brianna) Morrow of Miami, FL. and his sister, Evelyn Kay (Rodney) Wellenkamp of Jacksonville, IL.

Cars were Archie’s life’s work and greatest passion. He grew up at his family’s Ford dealership, where he worked alongside his father, uncle, and sister. When he wasn’t at Morrow Brothers, you could likely find him at a nearby auto auction scoping out Mustangs (though his daily driver of choice was a Crown Vic) or at his church. Archie never met a stranger—always ready to extend a helping hand in time of need. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His story continues in the lives of everyone he touched.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 28, from 4 until 8 pm at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, May 29, at the Charity Southern Baptist Church in Greenfield. Burial will be at Oak Wood Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials are requested to the church. Please leave a memory or condolence at shields-bishopfh.com
