Austin Curtis Brown

Austin Curtis Brown, 29, of Carrollton, passed away Monday, May 19, in Macoupin County, Illinois.  He was born September 30, 1995 in Jacksonville to Shannon and Kelly (Kuhnline) Brown. He married Natasha Cruthis, June 12, 2024, and she survives.

He is survived by his parents, wife, a sister, Sophia Brown and a stepdaughter, Teresa Murphy.

Austin was a 2014 graduate of Greenfield High School.  He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing.  He especially loved being involved with Civil War Reenactments as a corporal with the 6th Illinois Company C Calvary. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial visitation will be held from 2 until 4 pm, Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield.
