Bruce A. Costello

Bruce A. Costello, 53, of Carrollton, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, in Springfield.  He was born the youngest son of Frank and Joan (Hodapp) Costello, February 15, 1972 in Jacksonville.  He married Cindy West, October 12, 2013 in Carrollton, and she survives.

Also surviving are his stepsons, Josh Story and Jordan (Bailey Muntman) Story, step-grandchildren, Scarlett and Stetson Story, brothers, Roger Costello, Jim Costello and Kent Costello, mother-in-law, JoAnn West, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Steven and Craig Costello.

Bruce was a 1989 graduate of Greenfield High School. He did many things, but enjoyed the years he spent operating a saw mill with his dad.  He enjoyed “Westerns” loved visiting and spending time with family and friends. He also loved his little black dog, “Molly.”

Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10 am, at Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield, where a memorial service will be held at 11 am.  Inurnment will follow at Oak Wood Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the family.
