Chester B. "Chet" Arnold

Chester B. “Chet” Arnold, 94, of Hettick, died Saturday, March 29, at his residence.  He was born June 10, 1930, in Schuyler County, Illinois to Ira and Mary (Moore) Arnold.  He married Lillian Bailey and she preceded him in death March 31, 2008.

Surviving are his sons, Mark Arnold and Dave Arnold, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and several siblings.

Chet served his country in the US Air Force before joining the US Navy and making it his career.  He loved spending time with family especially camping and being around the campfire.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Maple Lawn Cemetery near Medora, with full military rites provided by the Tri-County Honor Guard.  Anyone wishing to make a memorial may do so in his honor to the Southwestern Apostolic Lighthouse Church P.O.
