Colleen (Ford) Powers

E. Colleen Powers, 86, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at White Hall Nursing and Rehab.  She was born February 15, 1930 in Greenfield to Stanley and Esther (Dawson) Ford.  She married C. Ray Powers June 26, 1948 in Greenfield, and he survives.

     Also surviving is one daughter, Karen (Robin) Manker of Chapin, a son Larry (Linda) Powers of Greenfield, four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Walter, Charles and Gilbert, and a sister Donna Dalton.

     Colleen was a homemaker and member of the Charity Southern Baptist Church in Greenfield.

     Visitation will be from 10 am until time of funeral at noon at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Burial will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Memorials are requested to the Charity Southern Baptist Church in Greenfield.
