Danika Claire Alderfer, of Greenfield, became an angel in the arms of her loving “Nana” on March 31, 2022. She was born April 16, 2021, to Nate and Kari (Varble) Alderfer, and they survive.
Also surviving are her sisters, Alexis White, Cailyn Alderfer, and Bryleigh Frieden, her grandparents, Roger and Kathy Varble, of Greenfield, Georgia Hansen of Jerseyville, her favorite uncle, Jake Varble, and her loving cousin, Stetson Varble, of Greenfield, her uncle, Jacob Hansen and family of Jerseyville, her aunt, Katie (Jeremy) Schmieder and boys, of Dow, and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Nathaniel Alderfer.
Danika was a shared blessing from God to all. Her smile was contagious, and her love and snuggles were beyond compare. She loved to be sang to and rocked by her mother, and “lit up” when she saw her Mommy, Daddy, sisters, Mama, Papa, Uncle Jake, Stetson, and especially her “Nana”.
She is now with God as our little angel to remember and love. Even though God allowed us to enjoy Danika for such a short period of time, she will forever be in our hearts, souls and memories.
A private family funeral and burial will be held. Memorials are suggested to the Greenfield Police Department, and can be mailed to the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home, 604 Walnut St., Greenfield, IL. 62044. Please leave a condolence or message at shields-bishopfh.com
