Deborah Kay Fields, 64, of Jerseyville, passed away Saturday, June 1, at Jerseyville Community Hospital. She was born May 10, 1955, in Quincy, IL. to Robert A. and Joy (Smith) Dillon. She married Jim Fields II and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Alan Fields and Jim (Beth) Fields of Jerseyville, a daughter, Beth Fields of Jerseyville and four grandchildren, Danica, Logan, Hanna, and Cameron, two sisters, Rusti and Carol and one brother, Jim.
Debbie was a retired police officer having served on the forces at National City and Benld. She enjoyed reading, knitting, baking cakes and cookies, training horses and spending time with her family. She was a Civic Memorial High School graduate.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, at 2 pm at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. Memorials are requested to the family. Online condolences can be left at shields-bishopfh.com
