Donald L. ("Don") Parks

Donald L. Parks, 92, of Greenfield passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his home. 

He was born December 2, 1930, in Rubicon Township, the son of J. “Mord” and Mildred (Nichols) Parks.  He married Mary Lou Schild on April 14, 1955 and she survives. 

Also surviving are a son, Richard (Susan) , two daughters, Jean Jackisch and Sharon Lentz, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with a tenth due in May, 2024, two nephews, two nieces and a sister-in-law Georgine (Schild) Lake. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William, Richard, and Robert (Thelma), niece Leanna Parks, son, John and two sons-in-law, Stephen Jackisch and Charles Lentz. 

Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be held Monday, October 30, at 10:30 am at the Rose Hill Cemetery west of Greenfield.
