Effie N. Camden, 91, of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Passavant Area Hospital. She was born September 20, 1930 in Chesterfield, Idaho, to Ivan D. and Corilla (Bone) Sessions. She married Edgar N. Camden, May 27, 1950, in Salt Lake City, and he preceded her in death August 28, 2006.
Surviving are her children, Wanda Jean (Craig) Nicholson of Ogden, Utah, Lori (Marty) Peters of Wrights, and William D. Camden of Layton, Utah, thirteen grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Selman, two sons, Kenneth D. and Raymond S., a daughter-in-law, Carol Camden, five sisters, and one brother.
Effie was a cook, mostly at Davis High School in Utah. When she moved back to Fayette, she was a caretaker for many children. She enjoyed the little things in life. She loved cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles, crocheting, playing bingo, spending time with family and friends and being surrounded by loved ones. She loved to share her talents in cooking and crocheting with her grandchildren. The world lost a wonderful woman, but God gained a wonderful angel. She is now resting peacefully with the angels.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 3 pm at the Carrollton City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.
