Elizabeth Ann (Grizzle) Arnett

Elizabeth Ann (Grizzle) Arnett, 65, of Medora, passed away November 18, 2023 at the White Hall Nursing and Rehab where she had been for the past seven weeks.  She was born June 17, 1958, the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Chambers) Grizzle.

Surviving are her children, Derek Arnett, Cody Arnett, Laura Arnett, Nicole Arnett, and Jakota Thornton, grandchildren Caleb Arnett Jr., Andrew Miller, Olivia Cody, Jacob Arnett, Hayle Arnett, Cheyann Taylor, Emily Jackson, Jasper Snyders, Paisley Snyders, and Hazel Thornton, great-grandchild, Marlie Arnett, sister Brbara (Grizzle) Chism, half siblings, Linda Gardner, Allen Hardwick, and Calvin Vail, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Caleb Arnett.

Elizabeth married Jerry Arnett and later divorced. She made a home with John Thornton and they were together form more than forty years. She enjoyed family and friends, playing bingo and had a deep love for her animals.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and no formal services are planned at this time.  The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
