Joel Michael Joyce

Joel M. Joyce, 30, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.  He was born June 19, 1988 in Jacksonville to Gale and Lori (Williams) Joyce.

He is survived by his father, a sister Leah (Matt Meier) Joyce of Collinsville, his maternal grandmother Mary Williams of Jacksonville and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents, Wilbert and Wilberta Joyce, and maternal grandfather, Charles “Bud” Williams.

Joel enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was saved and baptized at the Faith Bible Church in Greenfield and joined his mother in their Heavenly home on Friday. 

Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, beginning at 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Burial will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield.  Memorials are suggested to the Faith Bible Church or the Navigation Church in Collinsville.
