Jolleen Scott, 71, one of God’s angels, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2023. She was a resident at Willow Rose Rehab & Healthcare. She was born December 13, 1951, at Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Illinois. Jolleen was a graduate of Jacksonville High School class of 1971. She loved everything Elvis and was a huge Al Unser race fan. She attended many races at Du Quoin State Fair with her family and loved to cheer on the racers. She was a member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and traveled to conventions with her mother and sister. She also enjoyed fishing with her Grandpa Rives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eileen Scott, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Surviving are her siblings, John R Scott of Greenfield, Illinois, and Josena (Beecher) Wilhelm of Terre Haute, Indiana; nieces and nephews: Christian (Kendall) Wilhelm, Jasmine Wilhelm (Sam Wilson), Julie Meng, Janene (Mike) Parmentier, and Darren (Hillary) Drake, and several aunts, uncle, and cousins.
A funeral will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at noon at the Greenfield First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Memorials are suggested to the Barnes Jewish Hospital Burn Unit, St Louis, Missouri or the First Baptist Church of Greenfield.
