Joyce K. (Lawson) Kesinger

Joyce K. Kesinger, 74, of Brighton, CO, passed away on September 2, 2021.

Joyce was born on November 26, 1946 to Hazelmary Lawson and Orville Lawson in Springfield, IL. Joyce was a 1964 graduate of Springfield High School. She lived and worked in Springfield most of her life, retiring from Springfield Convention and Visitor's Bureau in 1998. She spent the last 20 plus years in Colorado, where she re-connected with and married Jay Kesinger, in 2005.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Hazelmary Lawson (Hollinshead). She is survived by her husband, Jay, her daughter, Theresa Shaver of Centennial, CO, her son and daughter-in-law, John and Lori McConnell of Springfield, IL and two grandsons, James (17) and Mac (14).

A small service will be held for Joyce on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 12pm at Camp Butler National Cemetery
