Julie Ann (Price) Pluth 66, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, April 29, at her home.  She was born January 27, 1959, in Jacksonville the daughter of Gary Price and Jacqueline (Metcalf) Edmonds.  She married Stephen Pluth June 27, 1981, in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death June 2, 2011.

Surviving are her children, Amy (Jarret) Phelps, Gregory (Della) Pluth, her grandchildren, Landon, Cora, and Samantha Phelps, a brother John (Jessica) Price, a sister, Teal (Mark) Cunningham, nieces, Callie (Josh) Davis, Audri (Joe) Cunningham, Jane Price and her father, Gary (Kathy) Price.

She was preceded in death by her mother and nephew, Travis Cunningham.

She was a 1977 graduate of Greenfield High School.  She attended Illinois College where she met and married Stephen Pluth. They moved to Sandwich, IL where they started their family.  In 1998, they moved to Las Vegas, NV.  She worked more than 25 years with Home Depot across many stores in Nevada and Illinois.  She loved tending to her flowers with her ever-faithful K-9 companion Millie-Sue, shopping, watching TV, and eating with friends and family at “Pete’s” Castelli’s Moonlight in Alton.  She fiercely loved her family and pets, especially being “JiJi” to her grandchildren. She loved Christmas and the family traditions, which included wearing matching pajamas, singing along to the movie White Christmas, and playing all kinds of games.

At Julie’s request, cremation rites will be accorded, and no formal services will be held.  Anyone wishing to honor her memory may do so with a donation to the ASPCA and can be mailed to the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home, 604 Walnut St., Greenfield, IL. 62044.  She will be interred at the Likely Cemetery near Walkerville.
