He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Gerald, his father-in-law Cecil Fones, and a sister-in-law Vonda Fones Dobson.
Kenny graduated in 1972 from Jersey Community High School. He has been the owner and operator at Parks Locker Service in Greenfield for the past 43 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and spent many years coaching in the Greenfield Little League and served for several years as the league’s commissioner. He liked mud racing, watching Nascar, St Louis Blues hockey, and always had a joke or story to share.
Kenny loved his family and enjoyed his time with his kids and grandchildren, attending their sporting events, special programs and ceremonies. He enjoyed attending rock concerts (always boasting being lucky enough to see the original Lynyrd Skynyrd before the plane went down) and the greats like Led Zeppelin and Eric Clapton and going to Cardinal baseball and Blues Hockey games. He had a passion for his business and a very personal relationship with many of his employees. Kenny was blessed with so many wonderful friends and he treasured each one. HE never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
