Leland F. Carnes

Leland F. Carnes, of Greenfield, died Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab Center.  He was born July 28, 1935 in Calhoun County to John and Alma (Graham) Carnes.

Surviving is one son, David (Julie) Dalessio of St. Charles, Mo., two sisters, twin Lela C. Scauzzo of Fenton and Jean (George) Lessic of Brussels

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dale Carnes.

Mr. Carnes served his country in the United States Air Force and was a self-employed logger for many years.

Cremation rites will be accorded and memorial visitation will be Sunday, April 7 from 2 pm until time of memorial service at 3 at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield.
