Linda Lou Tomcsanyi, 78, of Greenfield, died September 15, 2021, at the Carlinville Rehab and Health Center. She was born, September 3, 1944, in Akron, OH, to Floyd and Orpha (Gsell) Fiddler. She married Larry Tomcsanyi June 23, 1963 in Muncie , IN, and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Debra Lou (Matthew) Tooker and Audrey Sue (David) Putnam, both of Rogers, AK, Phillip (Mary) Tomcsanyi of Ofallon, MO., and Matthew (Cindy) of Park Hills, MO., grandchildren, Ammie and Jessica(Adison), great-grandson, Cooper, and one sister, Audrey(Bruce) Weaver of Ovedio, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Mark.
She attended Kent State University, then Lewis and Clark College, where she received an Associate Degree in art, and was a sign painter for several years. She also illustrated two books, and had a leather craft business for 38 years. She loved her Lord, attended church faithfully, and loved raising her family and being a homemaker.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home is assisting the family. Please leave a memory or online condolence at shields-bishopfh.com
