Marilyn L. Plogger, of St. Clairsville, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Wheeling Hospital.

     She was born February 25, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan; the daughter of the late Marvin and Marguerite Leach Hyatt.

     She was retired from the Dept. of Defense, where she served in the Pentagon as a GS14; a member of Ash Avenue Church of God; loved playing the piano and organ on her travels at many different churches; and an avid reader.

     She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren; was described as amazing, wonderful, and perfect.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Plogger and a brother, Hugh Hyatt.

     Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Chuck Plogger; two sons, Charles  (Janeen) Plogger, Jr. of Moundsville, Richard Alan (Lee Ann) Plogger of Redlands, CA; siblings, Rev. Dr. Edwin (Angela) Hyatt of Anderson IN, Rosie (Gary) Fredericksen, Kenneth Hyatt all of Saginaw, MI; five grandchildren, Jonathan Plogger, Anna Plogger, Riley Plogger, Matthew Plogger, Eden Plogger; several nieces and nephews.

     Family will receive friends Monday from 3pm until the time of service at 6pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, with Rev. Dr. Edwin Hyatt and Rev. Dr. C.J. Plogger officiating.

     Private family graveside services will be held in Oak Wood Cemetery, Greenfield, IL.  The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield is assisting with local arrangements

     Memorial contributions may be made to Ash Ave. Church of God, 127 Ash Ave., Moundsville, WV 26041.
