Mary L (Marquard) Borcky

 Mary L Borcky, 75, of Greenfield, died Monday, August 21, at Heritage Health in Carlinville.  She was born April 20, 1942 in Jacksonville to Herman and Edna (Willner) Marquard. She married Keith Freeman Borcky June 19, 1964 in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death January 12, 1989.  

     Surviving are two sons, Curt (Marcia) Borcky of Greenfield, and Mike ( Peron) Borcky of Newark, five granddaughters, Cassie and Layne of Greenfield, and Mallory, Taryn, and Isabella of Newark, two brothers, Ed Marquard of Jacksonville and Bud Marquard of New Port News, Va. 

     Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenfield.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

     Visitation will be from 9 am until time of funeral service at noon on Saturday, August 26, at the Shields-Bishop funeral home in Greenfield.  Burial will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Wrights.  Memorials are suggested to the Greenfield Tiger Backers Booster Club.
