Patricia J. (Ford) Howard, 80, of Piasa, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Liberty Village in Jerseyville. She was born July 21, 1944, in Greenfield, to Ferris and Myrtle (Gibler) Ford. She married Frank L. Howard Sr. October 29, 1961, in Brighton and he survives.
Also surviving are her sons, Frank L. (Leah) Howard Jr. of Piasa, and Richard L. (Leslie) Howard of Franklin, her grandchildren, Amanda, Brooke (Justin), Blair (Jake), Cory (Addie), Alexandria (Jon), Caeleb (Carrigan), Maria, Abbi, Tori, and Drake, her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Easton, Jack, Jason, Jacob, Dean, Jesse, Emersyn, Levi, Jordan, and Miley, and her brother, Donald L. Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Melva Solomon, and a brother, Richard L. Ford.
Pat was a hairdresser, and avid bowler nicknamed “Killer." She loved to follow Southwestern Athletics, especially when her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were playing.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 3, from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am, at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton. Burial will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Memorials are suggested to the Southwestern High School Girls athletic programs.
