Paul William Drennan, Jr. 73, of rural Carrollton, died Thursday, January 7 at his home. He was born September 26, 1947, to Paul W. Sr., and Eleanor C. (Allen) Drennan. He married Vicky Cochran, December 30, 1978, and she preceded him in death April 30, 2003.
Surviving is a sister, Carol Wood of Jerseyville, a nephew, Leonard (Karen) Wood of New Hampshire, his mother-in-law, Gladys Cochran of Carrollton, sisters-in-law Sharon Ruyle, of Carrollton and Starla Talley of Greenfield, brothers-in-law Larry (Arleen) Cochran of Carrollton and Gary Cochran of Greenfield, and several nieces and nephews which he loved as his own.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Marjorie Jenkins, his father-in-law, Gene Cochran, two brothers-in-law, Leonard Wood and Jimmy Ruyle, and beloved dog, Rocky.
Paul served his country in Vietnam. He worked at Pfizer Lab and for the US Postal service in Springfield until his retirement. He was also a Mason.
