Randy C. Costello, 67, of Stockbridge, GA formerly of Greenfield died Thursday, Jan 26 at his home. He was born December 28, 1949 in Carrollton to Raymond and Christine (Greene) Costello. He married Katherine McDonald, his companion of 13 years on January 24, 2017, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Paul (Kelly) of Fairview Heights, Steve (Faye) of New Berlin, and Ronnie of Greenfield, and their mother, his first wife, Carol Hardwick of Greenfield, four step-daughters, Trinette (Shane) Imsand of McDonough, GA, Katie (Jim) Stonehouse of Cedar Hill, TN, Genie (JT) Crook of Savern, MD, and Penny (Stephen) Bailey of Senoia, GA, eight grandchildren, Allison, Hunter J. Garrett, Hunter A, Gracin, Griffin, Grady, and Bryleigh, 14 step-grandchildren, Dakota, Montana, Chance, Conner, Riley, Annabelle, Logan, Michael, Gabriel, Audrey, Andrew, Abigail, Anthony, and Allison, two sisters, Ruby Cope and Marlene (Harold) Meneley both of Greenfield, two brothers, Jerry (Becky) of Pinkneyville and Charles of Greenfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Randy served his country in the United States Army. He was a truck driver and enjoyed country music and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm Monday, January 30 at the First Baptist Church north of Greenfield where funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday. Burial, with full military rites provided by the Tri-County Color Guard, will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Memorials are suggested to the Blessing Hospice of Greene County. The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
