Ruth Withrow Obituary

Ruth R. Withrow, 76, died Wednesday, May 3, at White Hall Nursing and Rehab. She was born August 26, 1946 in Springfield, to Frank "Sam" and Josephine (Brown) Walden.

Surviving are two sisters, Mary Withrow of Las Vegas, Brenda (Jack) Blasko of Petersburg, a brother, David (Shirley) Walden of Jacksonville, and a brother-in-law, Bill Heavner of Rockbridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Samuel C. Walden and Pete Walden, and her twin sister, Ruby Heavner.

Ruth had a strong faith and enjoyed reading.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am at the Summerville Cemetery near Medora. The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield is assisting the family. Please leave a memory or condolence at shields-bishopfh.com
