Sharon M. Patino, 82, of Greenfield passed away October 6, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield IL.
She was born November 6, 1941, the daughter of Lee “Gerald” and Lilly “Irene” Guthrie.
Sharon moved to Joliet where she lived for many years spending her time doing ceramics. She was best known for her ceramic dolls. Later in life, when she moved back to Greenfield and took up many sewing habits. You could see her at local craft shows with her sister Sue, selling her dish towels and many other items. She later added quilting to her list. Her sewing room was most likely where you would find her. She enjoyed going to Nashville North in Taylorville for every Country Music concert they had.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Beth (Gary) Davies of Diamond, IL her two granddaughter's Kayla (Mike) Davies of Morris, IL, and Kelsey (Chad) Davies of Coal City, IL and her great -grandchildren Bailee, Nathan, Evelyn Mae and Kaiden. her niece Tobi (Michael) of Greenfield, nephew, Tyler of Jacksonville, and two great nieces Aubrey and Scarlett, her brother-in-Law Ed Kuhnline of Rockbridge and sister-in-law Marilyn Guthrie of Springfield.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lyndell Guthrie and Robert Guthrie, sister Sue Kuhnline and her longtime friend, Mac Preston of Missouri
Sharon was a member of Charity Southern Baptist Church and several crafting and quilting groups.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 2 pm, at the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Wrights. Memorials are requested to the family in care of the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home. Please leave a memory or condolence at shields-bishopfh.com
