Theresa Ann Jett, 67, of Greenfield died September 8th, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born in Carrollton August 30th, 1956 to Fredrick and Donna (Shaw) Becker. She married Richard Jett Sr. June 15th, 1991, in Wrights and he survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Donna Becker of Carlinville, her sister, Tina Finley of Springfield, her children, Lynn (Bill) Wilson of Urbana, Donna (Tom) Inman of Rockbridge, Regina (Charles) Chance of Carlinville, Diana (Russell) Goldbricht of Carlinville, Vicki (Joe) Jett of Carlinville, Richard Jett Jr. of Springfield, Amy (Matt) Jett of Hillsboro, Barbara (Michael) Troutt of Carlinville, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Becker, her brother, Tony Becker, and her great-grandson, Keegan Inman.
Theresa worked at the family businesses, The Dairy Dell and F.W. Becker Inc. gas station in her 20’s then worked at Capital Records followed by Reynolds until she retired.
She had many interests and hobbies throughout her life including writing poetry, making macramé, painting tablecloths, adding art prints to decorative wooden boards, coloring, gardening, and playing cards. She had a love of many types of art that she shared with her children. She had a sense of humor and loved comedy and funny, silly songs.
The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home. Her family will host a gathering at a later date.
