Timothy Gale “Tim” Dixon, 62, of Greenfield, died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born February 23, 1958 in Jacksonville, to Gale L. and Betty (Summers) Dixon and his father survives.
Also surviving is, the love of his life, Sandy Bailey of Greenfield, a daughter, Alissa (Matt) Frank of Greenfield, a son, Jeffrey (fiancé Jessica) Dixon of Greeley, Colorado, five grandchildren, Samuel, Cooper, Evangeline, Lainey, and Presley, a sister Becky (Stanley) McClelland, a niece, Melinda, and two nephews, Kyle and Brett.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Tim trucked and farmed for many years. He loved to ride his bike “Alice” and take long trips. He loved his family and will be missed by many.
At his request, cremation rites will be accorded. A public graveside service will be Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 11 am, at the Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield. Please plan on following covid-19 guidelines. Memorials are suggested to the Greenfield High School FFA Program, or the Tiger Backers. The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home is assisting the family.
