Wilma Joann Rich, 80, of Greenfield, died Friday, January 10, at the White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 11, 1944 in Wrights to James W. and Wilma Virginia (Pembrook) Clothier. She married Carl N. Rich, October 25, 1964 in Wrights, and he preceded her in death August 11, 2004.
Surviving are her children, Norman (Jennifer) Rich of Bedford, IN, and Jenny (Ryan) Rawe of Carrollton, her grandchildren, Abbigail (Garrett) Henson, Xavier, Amelia and Hayden Rich, and Grace, Anna, and Henry Rawe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother James Clothier.
Joann was a homemaker who enjoyed picking blackberries and creating various types of crafts. She was a 1964 graduate of Calhoun High School, member of the Fayette Baptist Church and served on the Greenfield PTA.
A funeral service will be Thursday, January 16, at 10:30 am at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. A visitation will be from 9 am until time of service. A private family burial will follow at the Asbury Cemetery in Barr, Illinois. Memorials are requested to the St. John’s School Building Fund.
